 Batch File Help
Another example of a very well known batch file is the autoexec.bat, which is a simple boot file loaded each time the computer is loaded on MS-DOS and early Windows computers.
For example, a batch file could be used to run frequently run commands, deleting a series of files, moving files, etc. A simple batch file does not require any special programming skills and can be done by users who only know DOS commands.
The below example demonstrates how to create a time log of when the batch file is loaded, or for example, this could be used in the autoexec.bat when someone logs into a computer that supports this file.

 MSN Encarta - Alphabet
For example, the pictographs for sun and tree were combined to represent the concept of east.
This method of combining pictographs to represent the words for ideas is known as an ideographic system.
Syllabic writing systems are also more difficult to learn than alphabets, because they have so many more symbols.

The three-part ladybug example presents a rich computer environment in which students can use their knowledge of number, measurement, and geometry to solve interesting problems.
In this example, properties of rectangles and parallelograms are examined.
This example illustrates how using a dynamic geometrical representation can help students develop an understanding of vectors and their properties, as described in the Number and Operations Standard.

Getting started using NCL - Learning NCL by example
This example reads data from an ASCII file, and shows how to use Natgrid to interpolate randomly-spaced 2-dimensional coordinates with functional values to a user-defined 2-dimensional grid, how to open three different types of workstations, and how to swap dimensions in a multi-dimensioned array.
This example shows how to create an NCL function, how to use NCL built-in functions for doing averaging and masking, how to set resources after a plot has been created, and how to do a 12-frame contour animation.
Some of the examples write data or graphic files, so be sure you are in a directory where you have write permission.

How to Write Doc Comments for the Javadoc Tool
For example, the java.awt package might describe how the general behavior in that package is allowed to vary from one operating system to another (Windows, Solaris, Mac).
For example, if method description uses only the words that appear in the method name, then it is adding nothing at all to what you could infer.

Example 1-13 is the JSP page used to demonstrate the display of the O'Reilly Web site header for the English and German locales.
Otherwise, the user-defined pattern is applied to the formatting object and the date is formatted accordingly and output to the JSP page.
This is probably overkill for such a simple demonstration, but it illustrates that you can structure your application and provide a UI component to create proper references to localized data, whether that be text, or in this case, images.

These rules also apply to other uses of textual or visual information from WWW sites; for example, if a student is constructing a web page as a class project, and copies graphics or visual information from other sites, she must also provide information about the source of this information.
Copying visual information or graphics from a WWW site (or from a printed source) is very similar to quoting information, and the source of the visual information or graphic must be cited.
Here’s an example of quotation and paraphrase used together, which is also ACCEPTABLE:
