The Writings of Cyril of Alexandria
In explaining this singular subjectivity, Cyril developed the Christological language of an hypostatic union by appropriation; that is, a union of natures at the level of hypostasis, or subsistent, existential reality, by which the eternal Logos appropriates to himself the fullness of true human life.
Lengthier than his second epistle, this third epistle to Nestorius was written by Cyril in late 430 in advance of the Ephesian council, and includes his famous 'twelve anathemas' set before Nestorius, including the most-famous twelfth, or 'theophaschite' anathema.
Using a phrase he believed to come from Athanasius, but which in fact came from Apollinarius (by Cyril's time officially deemed anathema), Cyril argued that the incarnational becoming results in mia physis tou Theou Logou sesarkomene - 'one incarnate nature of God the Word'.

 351 St. Cyril of Jerusalem
Cyril of Jerusalem is most famous for his Catechesis (instructions before Baptism), and while there is nothing in his theology which even smacks of heresy, I'm afraid we have to classify him as a mild semi-Arian.
There was a problem, however: Cyril had been ordained by a staunch Nicene, and so they reordained him then consecrated him bishop.
He might be described in the words of Athanasius, a brother "who means what we mean but only differs about words".

Istria on the Internet - Linguistics - Glagolitic - Saints Cyril & Methodius
Cyril, with the help of his brother, translated the liturgical books into Slavonic.
Cyril and Methodius were brothers, born into a senatorial family, who both rose to high positions in the world--Methodius became governor of a colony in the Slav province of Opsikion; Cyril, a leading philosopher at the University of Constantinople.
They invented an alphabet called glagolitic, which marked the beginning of Slavonic literature (the Cyrillic alphabet traditionally ascribed to Cyril was probably the work of his followers in Bulgaria, although both could have been inventions of Saint Cyril).
