 noctalis.com :: Ultima Online :: News, March 02
The following proposed changes to the Taming profession and pets are being considered toward helping balance Taming as a class, as well as improving its place within the greater gaming systems that comprise Ultima Online.
When the Live or Ongoing Content design teams work to add new content (monsters, and everything else) to Ultima Online, one of the first questions raised is, “How will bards impact this?” For example, bards are able to gain Fame and Karma much faster than non-bards.
Last week we began sending out our Ultima Online newsletter with a brand new look, and many of you were pleasantly surprised at these inspiring changes.

We take on the often burdensome task of protecting that balance out in the real online world where dishonest players (we call them punks) hack and wrongfully exploit the published game for their own benefit at the expense of the honest player who expects and deserves fun, fair competition.
We also serve the online gaming communities that surround the games we support by keeping in direct contact with players, server administrators and league officials always watching for new developments in the "online game cheating world".
If you are a game developer or publisher and would like information about integrating PunkBuster™ into your online games, please contact us via email at license@evenbalance.com.

 Generation X - Forbes.com
Although the new games look good, only a handful are exclusive to this machine, and people who play the others on existing platforms may not know or care what they're missing--unless they want to play head-to-head online or partake in an online gaming community.
Developers generally take a year or so to fully exploit a new platform's advances, so games that really show off the 360 may not show up until next year's holidays.
