I'm just wondering, why is this considered flamebait and why should it be ignored?
Again, I am a relatively happy Windows user (although I recognize a huge number of problems in Windows as well), but Mr.

Flamebait moderation is indeed a difficult problem, because as you've said it can be very loosely interpreted; however, if it's very obnoxious people will just break the rules and moderate it down anyway using one of the other reasons (and I wouldn't hold that against them either, sorry).

The most effective strategy for flamebait is to simply ignore them.
Mailing lists seem very prone to flamebait: statements which may very much be true but are expressed in a provocative way.
What's worse, is that most flamebaiters don't seem to realize what they are doing.

 Flamebait - Wikipedia
Flamebaiting and flaming are an interesting psycho-social phenomenon that no doubt will be exhaustively studied within the next decades as the Internet matures.
Flamebait refers to a message posted to an Internet discussion group, such as a newsgroup or a mailing list, with the intent of provoking an angry response (a "flame").
Therefore, it seems especially important to make the rules and focus of a discussion forum public to avoid misconceptions about its accepted use.

 flamebait - a Whatis.com definition
Find white papers, products and vendors related to flamebait.
To be effective, flamebait should be a bit subtle (but not too subtle) so that potential flamers will "take the bait." This term is similar to troll, which is an effort to get a reaction from readers but not necessarily for the purpose of eliciting flames.
On the Internet, flamebait is a "posting" or note on a Web site discussion forum, an online

The reason you have arived here is probably due to the fact that the owner of this web site has deemed some portion of a comment as flamebait.
