 ObjectWeb - Amibition and Scope
ObjectWeb is an open-source software community created at the end of 1999 by Bull, France Telecom RandD and INRIA.
ObjectWeb is a place where a wide community of researchers and developpers, but also of end users and decision makers meet and talk about technical and industrial issues.
These components range from specific software frameworks and protocols to integrated platforms.

 cs497rej: ObjectWebOverview
ObjectWeb's goal is to provide Real-Time Enterprises with independent solutions which combine quality and robustness at the best possible performance/cost ratio.
ObjectWeb targets alternative solutions to proprietary products for e-business, EAI, data connectivity, grid computing, and enterprise messaging.

 Jonathan - Home Page
The Kilim configuration framework has now found a new home on the debian-sf system at Objectweb: http://forge.objectweb.org/projects/kilim.
It is in practice very little different from Kilim 1.1 (mainly, the XML2Kernel tool, used to create bootstrap kernels, is now called Kcf2Java).
All CVS access should be done from there.
