The difference between an X600 and a Radeon 9250 would be seen in something like gaming or newer computer graphics where the actual processor is modifying stuff.
We haven't had opportunity to test the x600 in our computers here.
However, here in the USA, Dell Computers sells the x300 with many of its computers, and I don't believe we've had any performance complaints from users.

I also have a IBM thinkpad with only a 64MB radeon card and it also can output 1600x1200 over DVI through it's docking station.

I sent several emails to ATI and finially the said it was a problem between the Asus motherboard and the X600.

I couldnt find a BiOS for that motherboard so I downloaded a program called Powerstrip and lowerd the core and memory speeds for the X600 by about 15mhz and so far I am runing games fine.
