Topic: Standard header

8.4.2 Read or Write Standard Header Routines
Put the binary table header keywords into the CHU.
Put the ASCII table header keywords into the CHU.
Get the binary table header keywords from the CHU

 Internet Protocol
The second field is a 4-bit Internet Header Length (IHL) telling the number of 32-bit words in the IPv4 header.
A minimum IPv4 header is 20 bytes long, so the minimum value in decimal in the IHL field would be 5.
Since an IPv4 header may contain a variable number of options, this field essentially specifies the offset to the data portion of an IPv4 datagram.

Standard Header And Footer: a Pattern for Personal Web Sites
Therefore, put information about the page and navigation in a standard header and footer.
Also, putting it in a standard header and footer gives your site a Consistent Format.

 5.1 Standard Header Block
Therefore, the common practice is to copy the standard header block from an available input file.
The standard header block must always appear first in the input to FEQUTL.
The command names are changed infrequently, usually only when a new version of the software is released.

 DICOM introduction and free software
The image data follows the header information (the header and the image data are stored in the same file).
The size of this header varies depending on how much header information is stored.
This is different from the popular Analyze format, which stores the image data in one file (*.img) and the header data in another file (*.hdr).

 A Standard Document Header
This location is identified in the 4-line header.  ; If this practice is followed, then there should never be any question or confusion about where the document is stored, which version is the most current version (the revision date in the header will settle that question), or multiple variant versions competing for legitimacy.
All documents shall include a standard header and an introduction.
The header should be the very first thing in the document, appearing at the top of page one.

RFC 886 (rfc886) - Proposed standard for message header munging
For our part, we shall concern ourselves only with the notion that the headers section consists of one or more headers, which are divided into one or more field/value pairs.
The 822 standard discusses, among other things, continuation lines, the syntax that is used to distinguish between fields and values, and the syntax and semantics of the values of various fields.
For example, some standards may not have a group addressing notation such as the one present in the 822 standard, e.g., the notation List: Support@UCI, ZOTnet@UCI; might not be permitted.

 RFC2822
Abstract This standard specifies a syntax for text messages that are sent between computer users, within the framework of "electronic mail" messages.
This standard specifies a syntax for text messages that are sent between computer users, within the framework of "electronic mail" messages.
Three additional tokens are defined, word and phrase for combinations of atoms and/or quoted-strings, and unstructured for use in unstructured header fields and in some places within structured header fields.

 Standard header
A standard header is a file, in C, Objective-C and C++ programming, is a header file that contains common definitions and data structures that all programs may use as required.
Also called "include files," header files use the #include preprocessing directive to incorporate them with the program.
Unlike C++, C# is written inline so it does not require header files.

Standard C++ C-Library Subset Header Strategy
The header might best be implemented with templates.
Finally, non-standard headers sub-included by standard headers need to be shadowed; the pattern is like this, for the common example

 HTTP/1.1: Header Field Definitions
Connection options are signaled by the presence of a connection-token in the Connection header field, not by any corresponding additional header field(s), since the additional header field may not be sent if there are no parameters associated with that connection option.
To get best results when sending an If- Modified-Since header field for cache validation, clients are advised to use the exact date string received in a previous Last- Modified header field whenever possible.
Message headers listed in the Connection header MUST NOT include end-to-end headers, such as Cache-Control.
http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec14.html

 IBM/MS RIFF/MCI Specification 1.0
Combined size of header information, parameter table definition, and header parameter table.
Designers of new multimedia file formats can restrict the use of standard header fields, requiring some and removing others.
The header parameter table is an optional component generally used to define attributes of the entire compound file.

 Updates
This allows me to shove everything from the initial <HTML> through </HEAD> into the header, and hence be lazy and not type it in everytime I create a new page.
Using one header (background and menubar) and one footer (copyright and end tags) in almost every page.
- Changed my header so that you can pass it the title.

 Scientific Software
The standard client works from the command line, it doesn't automatically integrate with development environments, and there are useful features it lacks.
Afreet, which exploits recent advances in computational machine learning theory, combining adaptive spatio-spectral image processing with a powerful support vector machine (SVM) supervised classifier to process imagery and image-like signals.specializes in signal processing, using evolutionary computational techniques to build signal classification algorithms.
Two separate syntaxes are supported; one accepts and emits libpcap dump format(raw binary w/ a fixed size file header and a fixed size packet header), the other accepts and emits simple hex w/ backslash line continuation.

 David Welton's Language Popularity article
The Linux Standard Base is defined in terms of shared libraries and the ABIs they support; the only machine-readable form of most of the corresponding APIs are C headers, so you at least need enough of a C-compatible language to parse function prototypes, structs, unions, #defines and inline functions.
You can't disprove the fact that "the manual page for socketcall documents socketcall as a C function" by saying "socketcall() isn't available as a C function from any of the standard header files".
isn't available as a C function from any of the standard header files.

A tour of the PHP.INI configuration file, part 1: Builder AU: Web Development
When PHP starts up, it adds a message stating its version number to the Web server's standard header.
This allows you to send special HTTP headers and cookie data even in the middle or at the end of your script; however, it can degrade performance marginally.
Turn this off if you anticipate conflicts with other languages, or if you want to apply strict syntactical rules to your PHP code.

You are mixing headers from egcs and compiling with gcc-2.95, for example.

Listed here are the lines of code used to include these header files, along with a brief description of their use.
Depending on the library functions you decide to use, you might need to include some other header files.

Shouldn't gcc come with these basic fundamental headers?

SitePoint Forums - Standard header/menu instead of inline frames...
Is there an easy way to include a standard header and menu on every page in the site that doesn't involve php, or perhaps a simple way in php that I might be able to implement (I haven't really got a clue with php!
At the moment I use 3 inline frames on a main index page, so, the header, the menu and the main body are all sperate pages, with the body being a plain page with no gfx or anything.
If header.html and footer.html are HTML files containing your header and footer the above code (when saved as something.php) will display the header and footer around the content.

Roscoe A. Bartlett - Problems with standard header in gcc 3.1?
I just tried to upgrade to gcc 3.1 and it seems that at least one of the standard C++ header files may be broken.

 [No title]
Another new feature made possible by the upgrade is the display of a standard header section for all philosopher and topic result pages.
** New Philosopher and Topic Header Feature **
So for example, the primary Aristotle page, as well as the Aristotle pages under e-Texts, Encyclopedia articles, and any other area, will all have the same beginning information.

For example, to view the standard header, footer or style sheet, try one of the following:
To view the source code used to create a specific document, just append a /view_source to the end of it's URL.
Any items that follow the 'standard_html_header' object will reside in this spot, and be in the SECOND row and SECOND column of the table that makes up the web page.
