Abstractly Related and Spatially Simultaneous Auditory-Visual Objects
In Heisenberg objects which exist in only one instance tend to be spatialised so that for at least fifty percent of the time they are clearly visible in the field of vision.
In a scene in which objects are moving and changing size and shape, occlusion problems arise constantly.
Changing the object’s look may fix this, so long as animation and other data doesn’t need to be changed with the new visual features.

 Chapter 0 Introduction
Visual computing often involves the transformation from one type of visual objects into another type of visual objects, or into the same type of visual objects, to accomplish certain objectives such as information reduction, object recognition and so on.
For instance it is possible that primarily the computer performs the visual computing and the human merely observes the results.
It is also possible that primarily the human performs the visual computing and the computer plays a supporting role.

 Visual objects
Visual Object (VO) has it's roots in Clipper (for the young ones, this is a DOS based, database focused xBase language) and still is too a high degree Clipper compatible.
Because of it's Clipper roots Visual Objects is often considered to be an development environment for vertical database applications.
The VO language however has evolved tremendously compared to plain xBase - it's fully object oriented, featuring weak and strong typing of classes and functions.

 How Experience Shapes Vision
Thus, the recognition of individual faces exhibits qualities that should be true for any domain of visual expertise for a homogeneous object class; faces being processed this way by default due to their social importance, but not as a result of anything intrinsic to them as visual objects.
A second implication is that object viewpoints or class exemplars that are significantly different from known views or objects should be instantiated as distinct representations; again, a prediction that seems to be supported (Jolicoeur, Gluck, and Kosslyn, 1984).
Second, I think that there is compelling evidence that our object recognition system is generic, that is, the organization of object classes in ventral-temporal cortex is based on the manner in which we learn to process different categories.

 NodeWorks - Encyclopedia: Visual Objects
Visual Objects is a computer programming language that is used to create software programs that operate primarily under Windows.
The original Visual Objects project (code-named Aspen) was started as part of Nantucket's attempts to bring the Clipper language to Windows, and move from the procedural to the object-oriented style.
Although it can be used as a general-purpose programming tool, it is almost exclusively used to create database programs.

Efficient recreation of the past objects and visual simulation
However, the objects are used to reconstruct by the operator taking a great deal of time, labor and skill using 3D CAD system or 3D CG software, and this operation become more difficult when the objects were lost.
This paper describes the efficient modeling system of the historical objects, and visual simulation of the Palatitsa Palace of Greece which was the lost object is demonstrated.
In order to recreate the lost objects, realistic descriptions of buildings is particular needed since buildings are important component of visual simulation, then the lost objects are recreated by CG operator taking great deal of time, labor for historical investigation.

Digital Web Magazine - Visual Architecture: The Rule of Three
Visual architecture is applied to the new media design context and defined as the use of a particular method of building visual information and balancing communication between images and words.

CADENCE CHANNEL: Programmer's Toolbox: Using Objects in Visual LISP
The object reference is then used to get the values of the object (called properties) and to run the functions of the object (called methods).
The reason is that objects are more naturally expressed in the terms of the VBA environment.
When you are comfortable with the objects inside an AutoCAD drawing, you will understand what to expect from the objects at the programming level.

Event Binding for Visual FoxPro Objects (Microsoft Visual FoxPro)
You can specify a Visual FoxPro object event source or an object reference, which can be used as the event source or event handler.
Visual FoxPro does not support event binding in designers such as the form and class designers, even though you can obtain object references using the ASELOBJ() or SYS(1270) functions.
You can use different objects from the same class as the event source and handler.

 Ordinateurs Laval - Visual Objects
Visual Objects is a very advanced language and is very much appreciated by the programmers that use it.
Computer Associates has make this language one of the most advanced for the Object Oriented Programming (OOPS) and the database management system is very good and easy to use.
One of the subjects was on multilingual user programming and the other subject was on how to move your application from dBase format to the new Object Oriented database (OODB), CA-Jasmine.

CA-Visual Objects and the Clipper programming language
Visual Objects is a Windows-based OOP development environment whose underlying programming language is a lot like Clipper.
Like CA-Visual Objects 2.5, it is an object-oriented extension to Clipper that works with 32-bit Windows platforms.
Winsock and VO I switched to using a canned third-party OCX from nsoftware for all my sockets-related development on 32-bit Windows.

CA-Visual Objects 2.7 @ GrafX Software Development Tools
All of the time spent in moving Visual Objects 2.7 from C5 to C7 are not features that you can see or touch, but make VO 2.7 the best version of Visual Objects ever.
As VO developers know, much of Visual Objects is written in Visual Objects.
The decision to make this costly move was based on GrafX's belief that Visual Objects has a strong future as a development product.

Amazon.co.uk: Books: Beginning Visual Basic 6 Objects
In the companion volume to Beginning Visual Basic 6, Wright takes a step-by-step look at the OOPS capabilities of VB6 using a helpful and informative array of real-world examples and code snippets to get across the ins and outs of this unique programming discipline.
There's a worrying mystique which has grown up around the discipline of object- oriented programming which would have us believe OOPS is something only hardcore technical people do.
With added material on OO design methodology and the use of design methods including UML and Microsoft's Visual Modeller this is hardly a book for the programming beginner, but for those with a little knowledge and a sprinkling of patience, Beginning VB6 Objects is a must-have for the computing bookshelf.--Chris Russell

As one of the first and purest of Object Oriented languages, VO provides a complete development environment that is capable of combining legacy code and legacy coding techniques right along side modern OOP functionality.
Although on some levels it can be compared with Borland’s Delphi or Microsoft’s Visual Studio, it stands alone as a development tool for massive projects and complex applications.
